The calm and inspirational setting of the main house and grounds of Barton Court provides the perfect environment for a gathering to celebrate the passing of someone special.

We offer the use of the principal reception rooms in the main house, together with its private gardens.

Our staff will look after your guests in a discrete and sympathetic manner, serving drinks and food from the dining room and circulating in the drawing room - or on the lawn, if weather permits - to keep everyone refreshed so they can make use full use of their time together to reminisce, console and laugh.

We offer three different levels of catering from a light sandwich platter, through a finger buffet to a full meal. Quite often, people find that the release of tension on these occasions makes them very hungry. Rest assured that we will ensure that all the attendees are kept well fed.

Tea, coffee and soft drinks are included in the food options but Barton Court is licensed and we are happy to provide and serve alcohol, should you wish. We would, of course, be open to any special requests that might make the occasion even more personal and would offer our help and support in any way we can.

GETTING MARRIED

Barton Court is a magical location for a meaningful event.

Both The Saw Mill and The Dutch Barn enjoy lovely views towards the Malvern Hills, have been designed with all weather use in mind and are wheelchair friendly. They are suitable for gatherings of up to 70 in The Saw Mill and 90 in the Dutch Barn.

The main house can be hired for post ceremony drinks and photographs or for a small wedding ceremony and reception of no more than 40 people.

In all cases, we require the involvement of a bona fide professional wedding planner to ensure that your big occasion runs smoothly. There are a lot of moving parts to a successful wedding day that need supervising and close attention.
